Lion Green Road is featured in ‘Social Housing: Definitions & Design Exemplars' (Second Edition)
The new RIBA book, authored by Karakusevic Carson Architects showcases a new generation of social housing projects from around the UK and Europe. The book explores alternative routes to designing and delivering affordable housing through the lens of urban mending, resilient typologies, building re-use, retrofit and material innovation.

‘Design by thinking of…’ is an initiative of Office Winhov. Editorial board: Ard de Vries Architects, Bergplaats and Office Winhov. From 2026 made possible in part by the Abe Bonnema Foundation and the Creative Industries Fund. The lectures are held five times a year at Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam.

Inspired by the work of writer, urban theorist, and activist Jane Jacobs, a panel discussion chaired by Evan Davis will present ideas for a brighter, greener, and better future for London. Speakers include architect Alex Arestis on the development of an urban arboretum; academic Dr Morag Rose on walking together to shape the planet; Oli Mould on the futures of golf courses and community gardens; writer George Hudson on why utilities are the problem; architect Mary Duggan on architectural procurement; @fungi.futures founder Maymana Arefin on mycelium networks and their liberatory futures; and founding director of Create Streets Nicholas Boys Smith on what Jane Jacobs got right about happy and prosperous neighbourhoods.
