Models are displayed informally within the studio, inviting guests to move around them and adjust their bodies to examine both their external form and internal spatial condition. The casual setting encourages close looking and conversation, allowing the objects to be encountered as working artefacts rather than finished exhibits.
Assemblage #1
Between 2019 and 2025, Mary Duggan produced a series of fifty assemblages that examine present conditions through materials at hand. Made in timed one-hour sessions, the pieces are improvised compositions that bring together salvaged objects, flowers, and residual fragments, intuitively arranged and dated as records of a moment.
