RIBA Talk: 28 November 18
Intergenerational dialogue between pioneering architect, Kate Macintosh & Mary Duggan. Chaired by Shumi Bose. Kate Macintosh, a key figure in the delivery of ambitious public housing in 1960s London, reflected on her celebrated work at Dawson’s Heights in East Dulwich. In a shared discussion, she spoke about the social and spatial ambitions behind the project, while Mary Duggan presented an emerging housing scheme in Croydon, creating a conversation across generations about the continuing possibilities of public housing.
