Science Museum

A new events space located on the fourth and fifth floors of the Science Museum, Exhibition Road, London generating 1,100sqm of space across two floors. A new long glazed portal to the upper floor exploits the views towards the city and is designed to host ceremonies, dining and conferencing. The lower floor supports black box events including cinema, exhibitions and theatre. An existing space frame structure within the roof is exposed internally and used to organise extensive servicing infrastructure. A resin floor pattern in tandem with curtain partitions allow both spaces to operate multiple spacial arrangements to suit each event typology.
